Animals were my first love, long before I discovered art. Born and raised in North Carolina, I've been immersed in the state's biodiversity, from the bears and elk of the Appalachian Mountains to the whales and porpoises of the Atlantic coast. That fascination with wildlife led me to pursue veterinary medicine, and as I study, art has become my vessel for sharing the passion that drives me.
